Karen Nation, FounderHello, I'm the Founder of Creation Nation and a nutrition specialist whose passion for food as medicine has been growing since childhood. For a time, I grew up in foster homes where the families were unable to provide healthy food options or accommodate my food allergies. I whole-heartedly understand that our needs are not one size fits all, even when it comes to snacking.So instead of settling for expensive bars & bites that taste blah, are high in sugars, preservatives, and poor quality ingredients, I began making my own instead. My nutrition clients & friends loved my recipes and wanted to customize their own fresh, delicious snacks too, but there wasn’t an easy way. Well, I set out on a mission to change that! To give ultimate control back to YOU whether Vegan, Paleo, Keto, or simply taste, health, and value conscious. Fresh is best and you deserve that!
In 2016, I was honored with an award for Best New Category Innovation, and in 2021 appeared on ABC's Shark Tank where I shared how easy & fun it is to make nutritious snacks that taste like cookies with endless possibilities... The Sharks loved them! This year we were featured as a winner in Good Housekeeping's Best Snack Awards, and on Good Morning America!
