Treats with no tricks! Fresh DIY Pumpkin Pie Protein Balls 🎃🌱
Because it's fall and pumpkins have taken over, so we're rolling with it!
Once you taste these they'll be all you want to snack on this season. Full of organic plant based protein too, for all those autumnal festivities you'll be keeping up with. You'll be the coolest ghoul when you bring these treats to munch on at any Halloween costume party --- so delicious you'll want to hide them from the trick-or-treaters! 👻
This recipe is loaded with potassium-rich pumpkin, making it the perfect option for a post-workout or post-festivity recovery snack, with a little added spice. Potassium restores lost electrolytes and helps keep muscles functioning at their optimum. Pop one.. or two.. or three.. whenever you get the craving for a PSL, but don't want the added junk. Did we mention these are gluten, grain, & soy free?
Here are 2 easy, no-bake versions that make 8 to 12 bars, or 24 balls each:
RECIPE 1 ✔️
- Our Vegan Protein Bar Mix
- 1 cup Organic Canned Pumpkin
- 2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice or Cinnamon
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup Agave, Date, or Maple Syrup
- Our Primal Protein Bar Mix
- 1/2 cup Organic Canned Pumpkin
- 1/2 cup Wild Friends Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter (or nut butter of choice)
Mix ingredients, roll into balls (coat in shredded coconut or cinnamon-sugar if desired), and share with the other goblins! No-bake, minutes to make, and easy as a protein shake :) Store sealed & chilled.
